interesting to see which way jim votes on the big issues on this link;

http://www.theyworkforyou.com/mp/jim_devine/livingston

Against an investigation into the iraq war? Poor old cook be spinning in his grave at that one.

Looking forward to hearing about the tories expenses in the papers tomorrow, this subject transcends political boundaries with the sheer brass-necked-ness of it all. :shock:

like that little snippet of info
Quote:
Ms Kinley is at present suspended from her job with Mr Devine on full pay after lodging a grievance against the MP. Mr Devine yesterday claimed that the allegations levelled against him were “total nonsense”.
Ms Kinley aint the only one with a grievance!

BLAH BLAH BLAH

http://www.theyworkforyou.com/debates/? ... &s=farepak

Quote:
Jim Devine (Livingston, Labour)

This week marks the third anniversary of the collapse of the Farepak Christmas savings scheme. The directors have not been called to account, and tens of thousands of decent, hard-working families still want to know what happened to their money. May we have a debate on this in Government time, and can we have a report on the matter, similar to the one that was produced on MG Motors?

Harriet Harman (Lord Privy Seal, House of Commons; Camberwell & Peckham, Labour)

I commend my hon. Friend for drawing attention to the great length of time that it has taken for the report on the Farepak inquiry to come forward. Many people who could ill afford to lose their money were affected, and I commend him for championing their case. I will bring his question to the attention of Ministers in the relevant Department, and ensure that those conducting the inquiry know that we are impatient for a result.
