Well Done Suzy!

I am interested to know what will happen to the outstanding balance of £576,245, please? What are the plans for this money?

Also like to know if the media company fees paid were paid in advance of work or arrears? Was there any kind of up front payment etc. Or was it paid after the work was done? Just curious. :)

Also, is it possible to get a detailed analysis of exactly what work they done?

Thank you. :)

Hi Angie

I have the answer to your question.

There are still a number of steps that the Joint Liquidators must take before the liquidation can be formally completed and these are set out in the rules that govern liquidations.

The actions that the liquidators have to take may take up to 7 to 8 months to complete. Accordingly, the balance at hand covers all costs which are associated with the remaining actions. They also cover the costs of the Joint Liquidators' fees and also the cost of keeping the Claims Management Team in place to aid customers and agents with any queries they may have regarding their cheques.

I can personally confirm that I have had in excess (since cheques started going out) of 200 telephone calls, emails and notifications on Unfairpak regarding change of address, change of name, sadly deaths and general queries relating to the cheques. Accordingly, I can only begin to imagine how many queries the Claims Management Team and liquidators are receiving.

By law the Joint Liquidators do not need to provide a detailed analysis.

Hope this helps.

Suzy
