That's a week today then? May be a bit tight to get anything organised. What does anyone else think? That is even if we can find out the location.

I can't find the notice in the London Gazette. I thought details of all creditors meetings had to be put in there.

I finally spoke to Almarie Comradie at London office. She said that there is indeed a Creditors meeting on Friday, it was advertised in The Times on December 28th, and all unsecured creditors have been notified by post.

The only people who will be allowed entry are unsecured creditors, of which, obviously, as a shareholder, I am not one.

So some quick thinking is needed if this group are to gain access - does anyone know a small tradesman/supplier in Swindon who might be a creditor - a window cleaner, a stationery supplier, a garage -someone like that?

Then they could declare one of us a proxy?

Unless things have changed much in the last few years, EHR had very few suppliers of its own. The building and all the admin costs were taken care of by Farepak and, of course, there isn't going to be a Farepak meeting.

The only suppliers of EHR would have been the auditors and other professional advisors such as stock brokers/lawyers etc.

I will send a message to the Swindon Evening Advertiser as well. They might know if there is anybody locally.

Can't find any mention of this meeting anywhere ! Trying to keep it quiet ?
While searching I found this, apologies if it's been posted before :-

On 26th October, 2004 we acquired IWOOT for £6.0 million in cash to be paid over
a three year period plus performance related deferred consideration of up to
£4.65 million, payable over three years. IWOOT is the number one visited site
in its sector (source: Hitwise) selling gifts, gadgets and lifestyle accessories
on its award winning website http://www.iwantoneofthose.com.

Does this mean they hadn't even finished paying for it ?

And this :-

Against the background of a significant fall in hamper volumes at Farepak we
took the decision to close production of hampers in Swindon and agreed a three
year outsourcing contract. We have been working hard to reduce the fixed cost
base of Farepak for the last two years. This action marks a major step forward
in this process and significantly de-risks the business freeing management to
focus on the marketing of both the savings club business and our nascent third
party contract voucher business.

This was April 2005 - 'de-risks' the business

Great idea, but I think that there should be a list of creditors somewhere.
