I understand that a company is "dormant" if no money is moved in or out of the business.

Yes that is pretty much it. A company can be declared "dormant" if there are no transactions that would have to be recorded in their accounts. They can not make any sales, pay any expenses, receive any money from customers or anything like that. The only thing they can do is get someone else to pay their fees to companies house on their behalf.

The activities that you are seeing on these reports relate to changes of directors. Details of changes to directors must be filed at Companies House. This is quite likely if the company has been sold as part of the deal to Findel. It doesn't stop the company being dormant though.
