Thanks Sue, took Linda train spotting to Carlisle today ( I know how to treat a girl on her birthday  )

Tried parking in the station car park no spaces so came back out. I put my ticket in the machine and as the barrier came up I started to drive out. Just then my daughter shouted out dad you have forgotten your ticket (it is one of those machines where the ticket is returned) so I stupidly reversed back slightly to get ticket. Then the barrier came back down and I got my ticket back, reinserted ticket, so of course it had been used so it kept the ticket and the barrier remained shut. So there we were stuck in the car park with no ticket. What a job we had getting back out as the "in" machine would not issue any more tickets as the place was full and a queue had formed waiting for a space. What a farce that was getting back out.   With the result missed the train arrival.

Well Linda went shopping to look for something for her Birthday and came back empty handed so the day was not a total waste.

Somehow I don't think it will stay that way for long somehow.

Stopped in the local fish and chip shop in Annan on the way home for our tea. Well that's what the girl wanted.

Happy Birthday Chris hope your day went better than ours. :D
