Same as Carol, only through Lloyds TSB internet banking. I contacted them for a refund like credit cards, but was told it was just like paying cash.

hi i paid £600 by direct debit through the cumberland and £1000 in cash with bank giro slips not entitled to a refund so they say .

I paid by Direct Debit.

I've just realised that I actually joined Farepak in June - when my 1st payment was made! That's even more annoying as they definately knew then that they were in trouble!
