Thanks for the link Sharon, have been doing a lot of reading and researching DAB up to a possible purchase soon. DAB has had a recent knock with the following decision.
Station closures.

GCap, the commercial radio operator, has just pulled two of its DAB stations, stating that DAB 'was not an economically viable growth platform' for it.
They owned 63% of "Digital One" and are virtually handing their share to over to Arquiva who own the rest and are either selling or closing two stations having already seen another two stations shut this year already. This leaves only about 3 or 4 stations left on their network.
Digital One were the company who were planning to build the Dumfries transmitter so things are unfortunately rather up in the air ( no pun intended) at the moment

Huh looks like no DAB radio for us, won't be buying a radio now. :( :(

The transmitter which had been planned for Maidenhead (Maidenhead and the surrounding area) is now not expected to be switched on in the foreseeable future. We apologise for this change to our plans.

In addition, the transmitters planned for Braids Hill (South of Edinburgh) and Riddings Hill (Area around Dumfries) have been delayed. We are not currently able to give any more information about the delays affecting these sites and cannot rule out the possibility that they may never be switched on.
